We’ve tasted their menu offerings, here’s what we think:
Milieu @ The Bushman’s Inn
The newest addition to Penola’s dining scene. Innovative menu featuring local produce served Tapas style. We love the Wagyu meatballs with olives, the Oysters crumbed with sea parsley and the espresso bavarois.
Extensive wine list showcasing the best regional wines from the Limestone Coast, available by the glass or bottle

Pipers of Penola
Penola’s longest standing fine dining restaurant housed in former Presbyterian church offers French inspired menu and a wine list that includes local and international wines. We love their cheese selection. Over the years, Pipers has won many awards for both service and food.
The menu features some of chef Simon Bowen’s own smoked produce.

Eat | Fodder | Drink | Ottelia
Fodder is one of our favourite lunch options in the Coonawarra, with a wood fired pizza oven and a wonderful menu full of their own garden produce. Try the Gnocchi with burnt sage butter, or one of their gourmet pizzas – no pineapple here!
The wine list is their own label wines – Otellia
