In October 2010 the Coonawarra Vignerons will celebrate the 13th Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations. With over 30 events in 3 days, the region is abuzz with live music, Master Classes, special dinners, vineyard tours and culminates in an Auction of the finest barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the previous years vintage.

The twelfth annual barrel auction is the highlight of this great weekend. Australia’s most unique wine auction offers barriques of Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2009 Vintage. Ten individual barriques of wine (to be auctioned as 5, 10, 15 or 20 dozen lots) are presented by the Vignerons as being outstanding examples of the depth of styles for which Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon has earned its world class reputation for excellence.
